The Versatile Blogger Award

versatilebloggeraward

I was extremely shocked when I read that I was nominated for this, because I certainly don’t deserve any type of award right now. But thanks to the awesome Curious Queendom, I have been nominated and a huge thanks I might add, she made my day brighter.

I don’t know much of her blog, she isn’t someone I actually followed but right after I finish this post, I’ll get myself to checking out everything!

As any award, there are rules you follow and you name them first:
❄ Thank the person who nominated you and link back to their blog
❄Nominate at least 15 blogs of your choice, if you can.
❄ Link your nominees and let them know of your nomination.
❄ Share 7 facts about yourself

Now, I won’t be able to nominate 15 bloggers, I apologize for that truly, but as Curious Queendom stated in her post regarding the award, I’m still trying to catch up to everything and everyone and get back in the game. I saw some bloggers have deleted their blogs that I would normally nominate, while I was away so I still need to scout around. I’ll leave this blog award for anyone that reads and is a “fan” of my content and wishes to state 7 facts about themselves. Just let me know if you do end up accepting it!

The 7 facts about me are:

I am not a fan of the cold. I don’t like winter and gloomy, gray weather. Every year I struggle with mood changes as soon as winter comes knocking and it makes me more sad and less positive about anything I do. I like snow, I love when snowflakes fall and turn my city into a white wonderland, but if only they were warm.

I never wear nor need foundation. Not particularly something I am proud off exactly, but I am fortunate enough not too need to wear it ever. I have amazing, clear skin, and I hardly ever ever break out. I don’t ever really wear make up at all, 85% I’m without it, but if I do, I make my eyes pop out with mascara and an eye pencil and you can hardly tell I am not wearing any coverage on my face.

I love acrylic nails. I just do. I have them done right now, have an appointment to do them again next weekend.

I am terrible at saving money. I am not frugal. As long as I have money, I would spend it. I’m sure this will change when I start earning my own money, but the good thing is people around me are good at it. I leave my money with them.

My worst fear is getting ill. Getting  deadly ill, being sick, diseases, hospitals, surgeries. Fever and cough, sure. Anything else? No.

I absolutely love the Agatha Cristie’s Poirot series, all of the episodes. I love Poirot, I love her books.

Last but not least, I’m afraid of all bugs. All, bugs. Lady bugs are not cute bugs, they’re bugs. They have pretty wings and they poop and then die. Up close they’re hairy bugs.

Thank you for reading! ❤

Accepting Yet Another Reward, Again!

Heheh, well this put a little cheer to my night. Quite a few things did actually. I’m getting better and better by the day, health wise. I’ve made a few new friends over the past days.

I’ve managed to pick myself up, dust myself off and force myself to go out, once. I did, with a good friend that brought two other people, through which I met another person. The joy’s of friendship and being social and positive. Today, I spent most of my day chatting with Djordje and getting to know him better, and mind you, it’s 4:30 in the morning. I’ve finally found out the age of one of my very favorite bloggers here on WordPress. I’m still confused about that but pleasantly surprised at the same time. And now, the lovely and exceptionally talented Britta has nominated for the Sisterhood of The World Bloggers Award!

I’ve been nominated for this award I think a couple times before but it’s such a joy and honor. I feel like I should honor that someone felt my blog, writing and I with it were worthy of any award. A big big thank you to her. She is one fantastic strong, talented lady, who I have learned a few things from.

The rules I think are very much known to everyone. In a nutshell, you need to post the award logo, thank the blogger who nominated you, answer their questions they’ve left you, and possibly leave ten questions of your own to your nominee’s, and nominate seven people.
Also, I really need to think about my nominee’s, because there aren’t many people that I haven’t already nominated before – in a few other awards as well. I don’t think I’ll be able to assemble all of them right away. I’ll answer the questions Britta has left me, I’ll come up with ten questions of my own, but I’ll need to come back and edit my nominee’s in.

  1. If you could travel anywhere, where would you go?
    – I would really love to visit Australia. It’s such a beautiful and fantastic country to live in. I don’t think I would adapt on the lifestyle there, how they are used to living, but to me, it’s nature’s blessing.
  2. What has been your greatest learning experience thus far?
    – My learning experience. Everything I have ever learned has been learned, in mostly the easy way rounds. My past I guess. I feel like that’s such a cliche answer but it’s really true. My past is basically what formed my mind, or at least, encouraged me to learn from it and think with my head. My present and the fear of my future makes it as steal as it is now.
  3. Who/what/where do you draw your strength from? (you can answer for all three W’s or just one…it’s up to you!)
    – Who, myself. I am a very self-concious person and I don’t like anyone to see me in my moment’s of weakness. My strength draws and ooze’s out of me in times where my character demands for it to be at it’s best. If I accomplish that, I feel stronger and eventually build it even more.
    – What, from the insides of people. That sounds so freaking creepy, doesn’t it. But, someone has to be a very specific, but if found, it’s where I get my inspiration from. My motivation and my strength for whatever that I need to do. Emotionally, whatever it may be.
  4. What blog post of yours are you most proud of and why?
    – Dang, I don’t have one of these. I really really love my post “Straight up Happiness? I Think Laughter“, because it’s something I live by. Something that really defines me in the simplest of words. It was something I thought about in front of my screen, I was telling it to myself, and wrote it down. And loved it. I stand by what I said.
  5. Your philosophy towards life in a few words…what is it?
    – You were born, you’re gonna die. It’s gonna end. Depressing, I know but.
  6. What is your favorite ice cream flavor? (apologies if you do not eat dairy…I myself get ill from ice cream, but still dream about those days when I could scarf down Ben Jerry’s Chocolate Chip Cookie Dough without getting an upset stomach)
    – I try to cut back on dairy, aiming towards veganism. But generally, I love old plain vanilla. It’s perfect in it’s simplicity.
  7. What does your dream home look like?
    – A picture that would describe exists not, sadly. It’s not called a Dream home for nothing.
  8. What is one thing you hope to have accomplished in ten years?
Hope to have accomplished. A one way plain ride towards America. At least that.
  9. What is your favorite book?
Honestly, I love the Harry Potter books. I love The Hobbit, I love Lord of the Rings. I don’t know.
  10. One thing that fills you with joy…what is it?
    – Animals.

These awards take up a lot of time. Really. I need to be snappy;

  1. What would be your dream pet?
  2. If you could do only one thing for the rest of your life, what would it be?
  3. Would you ever like to find out when you are going to die? Why or why not?
  4. What is your favorite thing about the WordPress community?
  5. Which are some bloggers that inspire you or brighten up your day?
  6. How do you feel about The Hobbit movies?
  7. Out of all the social media websites you know, which is your least favorite and why?
  8. What is one attribute you are most proud off on yourself?
  9. If you could move anywhere, where would it be?
  10. If you woke up and a genie offered you only one wish you may use selfishly, what would you wish for?

I was really quick with my questions. I think you’ll find them quite stupid but I think interesting to answer too.

Now, my nominees are:

Fiction Limbo, The Finicky Cynic, Coffee and Musings, I Prefer Deep Blues and Sea Foam Greens..

Two are very frequent guests of mine, but two favorites of mine. The finicky cynic amazes me with each post, how much we have in common, and Z’, Z is fabulous. On the other hand, the two remaining bloggers are ones I have been loving in the past few weeks. I don’t show it very often, but I’m one of those stalkers. I’ll silently stalk and poof, all of a sudden I’m there and you never knew I existed.

I love these awards. Even more so when it’s not 5am, but I wanted to do it. Now I need to hop into bed asap. Like now.

A big big thank you to Britta once more. She was the charry on top of a non-sarcastically fantastic cake today!

The Liebster Award

  • W/o! I am behind on a few other awards like the One Lovely Blog Award and I intend to write them all, but the facts…I don’t like coming up with facts!! First of all, I’d like to thank Being me. for nominating me. I was not expecting it at all. Thank you very much! The basics… The rules of every award.
Rule #1: Post the award logo on your blog.
Rule #2: Thank the blogger who nominated you and link back to their blog.
Rule #3: Write 11 random facts about yourself. Ugh.
Rule #4: Nominate 11 fellow bloggers with less than 200 followers who you think deserve this award. Not going to be 11 for sure.
Rule #5: Answer 11 questions the one who nominated you left you and ask your nominees 11 questions.

    11 random facts about myself:

  • I love to watch 24 Kitchen on TV. Even though it makes me hungry.
  • I don’t like sweets and sugary things all that much.
  • I am terrified of heights.
  • My favorite color is dark grey and dark neon blue.
  • I absolutely love cardigans. LOVE.
  • When I’m sad, it’s terribly difficult to get me to feel better unless I do it myself. So peopl shouldn’ttry too hard, just be there for me. Or make me laugh.
  • I adore mushrooms. I eat them every other day almost.
  • Felix’s and Joey Graceffa’s laugh are incredibly contagious for me.
  • I don’t like reptiles.
  • I get bored surprisingly easy.
  • I used to collest all types of seashells.

That didn’t go as bad as I thought it was going to be.

Okay, there is no way I can nominate 11 people, plus watch out if they have under 200 followers, which doesn’t even matter gurl. So, I basically nominate everyone that wants to do this and that loves coming up with facts about themselves. Go for it, no matter the count!

Now the answers:

Why do you blog?
– I love it, I love writing. It gives me a chance to share something that’s a part of me or a part of my life with someone outside my friend circle. It’s lovely.
If you could, would you keep a lion for a pet, or a tiger?
– Tough one. They’re both from the cat family… I love them both. I think a tiger. Lionness’s maybe, but a full on lion, eh. Snow tigers, how ’bout that?
What in people do you hate the most?
– Probably selfishness. Taking people and things for granted. As soon as someone feels better no one else matters anymore. We don’t learn or appreciate at all.
Your favorite super hero?
– I don’t keep track of these… Who is a super hero anyway? Except like, Superman. lol
Your favorite celebration in your country?
– My country’s a boring one, so I’m gonna go with Christmas. We don’t have any seperate cool holidays. We don’t even celebrate Halloween. -.-
Your goals in life?
– Move, get a nice job, support myself. Get a job that has to do with languages and writing or teaching. Marry Mike, adopt and save as many kitties and animals I can and be happy.
Do you smile your way out of troubles or cry?
– First cry, then smile.
Who do you go to when life’s angry with you?
– Most of the time no one. I keep things to myself. If it get’s too much or if it’s not too bad, I go to Mike. Otherwise, I keep shut.
Do you like my blog? And why?
– Yes I do! I think you deserve more recognition than you’re getting. It’s honest.
What is an ideal personality in your view?
– That’s a good question but not one you should answer. I can’t come up with an answer.
What inspires you the most?
– Surroundings.

Dang it, now for the hard part. My questions to all of you!

  1. Do you have a happy place and what is it?
  2. What is your favorite meal to eat, of all time?
  3. What do you think is more important. To love or to be loved?
  4. Are you interested in fashion at all?
  5. Your biggest pet peeve about your best friend?
  6. What would you say is your biggest flaw?
  7. Cats or dogs?
  8. If you had one ultimate wish, what would you wish for?
  9. What do you like wearing the most, heels, flats, sneakers, flip-flops?
  10. Who’s your favorite YouTuber?
  11. Do you know who is Pewdiepie? Are you a bro? ❤

w/e! Thanks to Fatima one more time!

One Lovely Blog Award!

Awww!! Like I deserve this award, with so many lovely bloggers here. There is no such thing as getting tired or less excited with every award you get nominated for! It’s an honor!
I have so much lovely and understanding followers so far. This time around, I’m happy to thank Professional Dreamer for nominating me!

Her posts are so freaking refreshing and wonderful. Her writing keeps you interested and leaves you wanting more and more. I’m always anxious to see what she has written next. You should check her out,  but let’s get to filling out the rules!

Like every award so far;
Rule #1: Thank the person who nominated you and link back to their site.
Rule #2: List the rules.
Rule #3: You must add 7 facts about yourself.
Rule #4: You must nominate 15 other bloggers and comment on one of their posts and let them know they have been nominated.

Mmm! Why facts? Why can’t it be list… 7 songs you love or 7 panties you like to wear, why facts. They’re hard, they take so much time. I need to rewind my brain.

Fact #1: I really do like to organize shelfs, cabinets, book cases, drawers, desks. I guess that comes with a little bit of swiping off dust and cleaning, but I mean more of organizing everything to be in it’s place.
Fact #2: I love to cuddle. Hihi.
Fact #3: I can kill flies easily. I don’t know why people have such problems with killing mosquitoes or flies. If I have a flyswatter, I’m the man. 😀
Fact #4: I don’t follow sports at all. Not a big fan either, except maybe Tennis, because of our Novak Djokovic! ❤ Our hero and I absolutely looove him. Only when there’s Tennis on, I’m all about it!
Fact #5: I have a thing for really old, creased, antique looking books. They have so much depth, even on the outside and beauty and meaning, I just love it.
Fact #6: Lord of The Rings and soon-to-be movie trilogy, The Hobbit are my favorite movies. Just, awesomeness. Perfection. Yummy!
Fact #7: I am 5’4 feet tall. I guess it’s called average height but I wish I was a bit taller.

I swear, coming up with 7 facts about YOURSELF, ugh.
Now, my fellow bloggers!

Rather Interesting Day for Unknown Reason

Today was an interesting day for an unknown reason.

I think the days I love the most is the ones were I wake up really late. I’m not going to say when, but people might consider it lunch time. Don’t judge. ;_;
It’s really not my fault though. I have very big troubles sleeping and not being productive until maybe an hour-or two after I wake up. What is that? The worst part is that today was exceptional, I don’t wake up late, even when I go to bed after 4am. I passed out this morning and I guess I went into a very deep sleep. But really, my schedule of sleep is after 4am, basically every night and I just Can’t.Sleep. I wake up at 7-8. I say again, after 4am.
Why am I still going on and on about sleep. You get the point.

So yeah I had woken up late. I bought these, I don’t wanna miss-name them but one of those folder pockets that I use to store my, old notes and and itsy bitsy writing I had made over the years because I am a pretty nostalgic freak. I like to do that, I have already throughout the years and finding them at random times and just looking back on what I used to say or think or draw is priceless. I took my time with that and realized I don’t want to lose my entire day locked up in my room. I should make the most of the day I had left and just go out and enjoy myself.

For me that meant taking long walks around beautiful areas in my city. My feelings and thoughts throughout this entire ”morning” were like I wasn’t myself. Does anyone else feel like that, I hope i ma not alone on this. I have days like today was, where I wake up feeling like I’m leading someone else’s life. Like I need instructions to do whatever action I wanted to do… Kind off like Sims. I looove that game.

I had walked and walked over this ginormous promenade next to the river. I picked up the biggest cup of frozen yogurt and put all my goodies on it and I had the most beautiful time. I can’t say. I had my earphones, my music, the temperature was PERFECT. Just warm enough with a little breeze. I had no cares in the world, just the beautiful smell of freshly mowed grass and that smell of water through the air.
I had a very smart idea to literally walk all the way home. BAD IDEA. It really wasn’t no big deal, road wise, it’s a straight line back. Perfect for walking, greenery everywhere you look but it’s a LONG way home. I got so tired my feet were starting to totter and I felt really weak. Thankfully, and this was a much smarter decision, I decided to stop at the mall that was on the way.

I needed to sit down and let my legs re-charge.

I did that for half a second until I saw my favorite bookstore Vulkan (Volcano), and they renovated it! It was so beautiful and I felt like they had given it some life. The old version was a dry, stale bookstore, but with all the books you’ll ever want! ^_^
Recent love for books – I had mentioned Stephen King I never knew off and who’s books were NEVER on shelfs in bookstores.

IMG_20140806_172944

OF COURSE, when I had no REAL money with me. I had like 3 dollars with me and the cheapest one is The Green Mile (Zelena Milja) that’s 9$. They all go from 9 to 14 dollars tops. BUT I HAD THREE.
I know they’ll still be there but are you serious?  I’m happy I found them, I am. Considering how often I pay a visit to this mall, I may have been left in nescience for who knows how long. I did take one and sat down to take a sneak peak at the first few pages. I’m so anxious just by looking at the picture. T_T

They added a little bit of everything. An area for, not so much school supplies, but different coloring pencils, markers, erasers, painting tools and etc.  CD’s and actual records. I was so surprised to see they had them on sail, I didn’t know people still used records. Am I being really ignorant? Do a lot of people still use records, but I am just so held-up on my computer? I apologize if it’s so, it was just so unusual.

I got out of there quite fast because If i had stayed any minute longer, I would find about 20 more things I would want but can’t have right now and it would spoil my day. I still decided to go home on foot. I felt a little bit rested and the day was so beautiful, it was a shame to waste the last couple of hours in a bus. :3
I can’t explain how I felt throughout the day though. On my way home I felt happy and fulfilled. I lost a big part of my day tucked in under my bed but I felt like I used my time wisely. I didn’t get out of the house in quite awhile and it was really refreshing. I took deep breaths of air and… re-charged. Feeling full of energy!

I am back home now, sitting on my laptop, all content, happy  and cheerful, cuddling up with my cat from time to time and of course, sipping coke :3
Seriously, this post took me about two hours to write, just because my cat is really jealous whenever I’m on the laptop and is determined to make me snuggle him.

Ah, today has a big background and I don’t know what it was that made it so interesting. Nothing new happened, nor rather news worthy, but something inside of me liked today very much.
I simple but beautiful walk like today was a miracle worker.

And this is way too long, hehe.
